The Gift of Black Walnuts & a Visit to the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market

Yesterday’s YouTube Shorts were a hit — and the adventures continue today at the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market. 🍅🥕 From foraging black walnuts to exploring local harvest treasures, I’m bringing the sights, sounds, and stories of our region straight to you.

🎥 Check out my latest Shorts compilation here: The Gift of Black Walnuts – YouTube
And stay tuned — I’ll also be updating my Rock Hill section with new info about black walnuts at Cherry Park and local foraging tips!

Breaking news: I’ve successfully grown cucumbers for four years straight. Everything else? RIP.

Check out my latest Shorts on YouTube for a lighthearted live podcast from the “Preppers in Training” side of my site — where I’ll be planting herbs, leeks, sweet potatoes, garlic, lettuce, and spinach (and trying not to kill them).

It’s still chilly, but hope springs eternal… and apparently so do cucumbers.

Come laugh, learn, and maybe even leave with a few new survival gardening tips — or at least a smile.

Also, please Watch, Like, Comment, and Subscribe to my last YouTube video, Pretzel Nuggets : A Voice to Protect Our Democracy! NO KINGS PROTEST: The Day After. 🌱 Help Me Grow — No Spruces, Just Subscribers!

I didn’t plant any spruces, but I am trying to grow something even trickier — my YouTube channel! 🌿🎥

I MUST hit 500 subscribers to go live and bring you all the chaos, comedy, and cucumber confessions in real time.

If you enjoy my mix of truth, prepping, laughter, and the occasional gardening disaster, please:

👉 Tell your friends — and your plants — to join the fun

Every click gets me closer to live streaming straight from the garden (or what’s left of it). Let’s grow this thing together! 🌞💬🥒

Watch, Subscribe, and Comment!

Thank you for joining our call. So much is happening everyday. Will the Flotilla arrive? Will Egypt and Turkey assist? We will watch new videos on the destruction. We will also the world recogniing a State of Palenstine. Will that matter.

Please welcome our guest, Rami Rizk. Rami met me in 2001. Rami was a very good friend of my son, Kenny. They went to St. Ed's High School in Lakewood, Ohio. 9/11 happened, and chaos hit everywhere. They were thrown together in a difficult situation for Rami. Catholic boys can be very mean, and as Rami put it. he had a 5 o'clock shadow at 9 am.

Rami introduced me to a hookah and Arak. Rami and I had some indepth conversations smoking a hookahbut we didn't always agree. Fun times.

Rami holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Cleveland State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.

He possesses years of successful experience designing and executing research projects, streamlining internal processes to enhance overall productivity, and fostering positive relationships with a wide range of clients, colleagues, and key business partners. In addition, I have been consistently recognized for my outstanding contributions to the bottom line and commended for organization, efficiency, and priority management skills.

Rami spent 8 years as a Research Engineer at the Cleveland Clinic. He transitioned into a Software Engineer and Developer at several companies. Rami is currently team lead at Arhaus in Cleveland Ohio.

He is married to Chanel/ They have 3 beautiful children. Welcome Rami to our call on Seeptember 25th.

Crisis, Community, and a Soundtrack for Survival!

I can honestly say this was a fun one to make. Gaza has been wearing me down, but this was about Crisis, Community, and a Soundtrack for Survival!

Gaza and the Global Chorus of Resistance

Everyday, the people of Gaza starve and die. It is heart-wretching. The doctors are giging so much. They are at the hospital without tools or food or even shoes. They are there when dead family members are brought in. The struggles, destruction, and starvation continues.

A Fun Detour: Preppers, Survivalists & Civic Survival

I’ll admit — watching Blast from the Past recently sent me down a rabbit hole. The movie pokes fun at “preppers” and “survivalists,” but it got me thinking: what does it mean to survive politically in times like these?

Songs and Satire: The Soundtrack of Resistance

Bruce and Neil Young have faught our dicator with song. Willie Nelson is doing the 40th Farm Aide Concert. Taylor Swift and Beyonce give voice against the regime.

Then there's the comedians and actors. With humor and spunk, they show the Orangutan what it takes. Rosie, Stephen, and Jimmy hae paid the price with threats, firings, and suspension. Still they have humor and do not hold back.

If they can do it, so can we!

The latest podcast on the Genocide in Gaza

Review the history of the conflict. Look at the day to day life in Gaza. Learn what you can do to help the starving people of Gaza. Use your voice to fight back against the evil that Netanyahou is permeating on the women and children every single day. He is an evil man, but so is our president. Most of the rest of the world is trying to help. We need to too!

We will be doing weekly updates on this. Please join us each Monday on Zoom.
